About Moni Plus

A Brief History

Heduru Moni Limited which trades under the name of Moni Plus was incorporated and commenced trading in 1998 as a financial intermediary. The company started operations providing small personal loans for salaried employees of the public and private sectors.

On the 1st of February, 2006, Heduru Moni Limited became fully licensed as a Financial Institution by the Bank of Papua New Guinea under the Banks and Financial Institutions Act 2000. This provided the ability to raise deposits from the public and expand its lending portfolio. The company has since expanded into Asset Finance to meet demands in the commercial sector.

In 2012 the company created a state-of-the-art, on-line, Foreign Exchange delivery service and had its licence approved as a Foreign Exchange dealer in May 2012.

The company operates from its premises on the corner of Waigani Drive and Garden Hills road in Port Moresby. Currently we have branches in Port Moresby (downtown), Lae, Mt. Hagen, Alotau, and Kokopo.

The company’s competitive advantage lies in its focus on four core products and delivering those products in a simple and efficient manner. This is complemented by the ability to turn loan approvals over in a 24 hour period to meet its customer and supplier funding demands.

Here at Moni Plus, we provide market leading solutions in Personal Loans, Asset Finance, Foreign Exchange and offer attractive and competitive rates for Fixed Term Deposits.

Moni Plus aims to be a respected member of the financial institutions market in PNG by offering a range of financial services to meet our niche market. In doing so, Moni Plus will conduct itself as a responsible lender and a good corporate citizen with social and environmental responsibilities that will be to the benefit of its shareholders, staff and fellow Papua New Guineans.
